This conference aims to focus on the way that God is using His people to spread the Gospel—from our neighborhoods to the nations—for His glory. Sharing from their unique perspectives and ministry experiences, our speakers will communicate how believers can use their vocational training and gifts to be a part of the Great Commission at any stage in their lives: sending, supporting, and serving.
Meet the Speakers
We are honored to have a line-up of conference speakers with backgrounds spanning the spectrum of missions. Our speakers will draw from experience pastoring local churches, translating Scripture, and serving on the foreign mission field to help attendees gain a better understanding of the breadth of missions.

Pastor Dan Case was born and raised in nearby Warsaw, New York. He and his wife Sydney met and were married in Key West, Florida. After some time spent ministering in Key West with Welcome Home Ministry (now known as Keys Evangelistic Ministries), Dan and Sydney decided to move to Western New York, where they raised their four children.
Pastor Dan served as a Sunday school teacher, song leader, and deacon at LaGrange Baptist Church during the 1990s and was working the evening shift as a custodial worker at a small local public school district when he was called to pastor the church at LaGrange in December of 1998. He officially began serving in the pastorate at LaGrange on January 18, 1999. Since then, Pastor Dan has had a heart for local ministry and has sought to practice The Great Commission at the local level.

Peter and Pam Van Der Decker serve with Ethnos360 (formerly New Tribes Mission) among the Kaulong people in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. Soon after moving to Papua New Guinea in 1997, Peter, Pam and their family, along with their missionary teammates, moved in to live among the Kaulong people – a people group without access to the gospel in their own language.
After the Lord enabled the missionary team to learn the unwritten Kaulong language and culture, they were able to present the gospel – teaching chronologically through the Bible from creation to Christ, showing God’s plan of redemption. After three months of teaching, the Lord was pleased to save a number of the Kaulong! The missionary team also developed a Kaulong alphabet and literacy program so the people could learn to read and write in their own language.
Over the years, the gospel has continued to spread. The Lord has been faithful to be maturing the Kaulong church and raising up leaders among this body of believers! As a part of the discipleship process of the church, Peter and Pam are working on translating God’s Word into the Kaulong language so the church can have the Scriptures in their own language.

Joseph accepted God’s call to become a missionary doctor to the Republic of Congo in third grade. Rebecca made a commitment for long-term missions in high school. After meeting during college, they joined forces before completing medical & nurse’s training. They have been privileged to serve in Congo with their family since 1996, and founded Pioneer Christian Hospital in 2006. They are grateful for their four adult children and son-in-law.

John has served as President of ABWE Canada since December 2021. Originally from southern Ontario, John and his wife Jacky served as ABWE Canada missionaries in Ukraine for over 22 years. During that time, they helped to plant two churches. John was a team leader, mentored Ukrainian church planters, and co-founded and was President of the Church Ministries Institute.
After turning over these ministries to local leadership in 2016, they moved to ABWE’s International Headquarters in Pennsylvania. There, Jacky continued to participate in outreach ministries, and John served on the Senior Leadership Team as Vice President of Training & Resources, overseeing various initiatives, missionary development, theological education, and the Good Soil Evangelism & Discipleship ministry. In December, John began a new role as President of ABWE Canada, serving Canadian missionaries around the world and assisting Canadian churches to achieve their local & international missions objectives.
